We planned our project through the use of the Project Planner provided to us by Girls Build. We had a few meetings with the team in our coordinators classroom after school. The times varied with the meetings, we met for an hour to two hours max. We talked to our coordinator through school hours as we have her for a teacher in some courses. Food was provided so that we are not thinking over an empty stomach. We maintained contact with each other via cell phones and each person was responsible for their portion of the project planning. V.Ortega created our logo, V. Soto took our photographs and V. Landeros maintained the Website as Stephanie took care of the Instagram account. Rosa and Yvette were responsible for planning our fundraiser for parent conference night. We all contributed in planning our first outreach workshop and we worked closely with our coordinator to help us find minority guest speakers. We obtained the opportunity to have Golden Gears provide our participants a demonstration thanks to Girls Build S.Park.
